I purchased the the M-Edge Latitude Kindle Jacket for Kindle 2 about 8 months ago. I did a lot of searching before picking this particular case. A lot of the cases you see on Amazon leave one or more sides of the Kindle exposed. I have no doubt that they hold the Kindle in place and protect the screen but I was specifically looking for a case with a zipper - a case that would shut completely. Why? Because I need to carry the Kindle in my purse and couldn't risk anything in my purse (such as pens) scratching the Kindle. I wanted the absolute best protection for my Kindle.

The case has several good features aside from the zipper. First, it has an outside pocket in which I have been able to carry my USB chord/charger and Kandle (Kindle book light). It is such a bonus to be able to carry all these things in one. Second, the way the case is designed makes it easy for being able to read the Kindle while it's in the case (if that is preferred). This comes in handy when in public and the fear of spills or dropping it is a concern. The case is also very easy to put the Kindle into. You can tell it's snug in there and not going anywhere but it doesn't take a long time to get it into place.

Sure enough, 8 months later and my Kindle looks "like new" - not a single scratch. The case has been reliable, protective, and has done it's job. I'm glad I made this purchase.

I love this jacket! It folds open to hold the Kindle securely while I'm reading, it's comfortable to hold, and it completely encloses and protects the Kindle. The zippered case opens to reveal just the charging plug, so it's easy to charge while the Kindle is still in the case. The bright color makes it easy to see in my briefcase. The kindle jacket is a great idea it keeps my kindle scratch proof from the traveling I do for work.
I fly to and from work every two weeks and carry it all over the place and it is as new as when I first bought it.
